TSSA to introduce more flexibility to the certification process for Operating Engineers or Operators

TSSA is introducing more flexibility to the certification process for Operating Engineers (OE) on June 14, 2021, with Release 3 of the implementation of OE Alternate Rules for O. Reg 219/01 (Operating Engineers). The Alternate Rules Part 2 establishes an Alternate Table 8 for accrediting Qualifying Experience Time (QET).

To apply for certification, you must submit the completed application for an Ontario Certificate of Qualification as an Operating Engineer or Operator, complete all required exams and pay the appropriate fees.
