Rajpreet is an educator and facilitator with over 10 years of experience in the adult education field, and a passionate advocate of mental health education. She has an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree from York University and a Master of Adult Education from the Ontario Institute of Studies in Education at the University of Toronto. She also holds an OCELT (Ontario Certified English Language Teacher) certification and is a certified Mental Health First Aid Trainer and an A.S.I.S.T (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) trainer.
Rajpreet has worked as an adult educator across the GTA, with a specialty in serving adult refugee and newcomer populations and working with survivors of trauma. At CMHA Peel Dufferin, Rajpreet runs the Education and Training department by developing and facilitating a range of workshops on mental health to increase awareness and break stigma surrounding mental illness for various workplaces, agencies, and the community.
